The company was founded in 2000 by leading Irish businessman Dermot Desmond, whose other interests include London City Airport and a major shareholding in Glasgow Celtic Football Club. It started trading in September 2001.

| First impression, design and page load. |
| Very nice layout. There are a few sportsbook similar to this one, but with semi different layouts. Loading time is decent on Dialup connections. |
