CashPoint
|
| Introduction: Cashpoint Sportwetten GmbH was founded in 1996 by Mr. Josef Münzker.
The year it was founded the first self service terminals were established. These internet terminals were already successfully placed on the German market a year later in 1997.
After Cashpoint specialised in selling and positioning the self service terminals, the company opened its first own branches on the Austrian market in 1998.
After growing continuously it was necessary in 1999 to find a common company object for the locations that had been spread up to then. This new office with an area of over 1.000 m2, that is located at the outskirts of Vienna, made it possible to have the administration, the production and the IT all in the same location. |

First impression, design and page load.
Very slow on load up. When I saw slow, I mean super super slow. Even on High Speed it takes a while. The layout is decent, but they use frames and the whole package, so it just lags the site badly.

Opening of account.
There registration feature is actually better than most sportsbooks. They have two steps, but they are very short and don't require you to type in your whole life story. I liked this part of this site a lot.

Site navigation.
The navigation can get pretty tricky. It is quite confusing, trying to find the register button, and trying to access different parts can be a little tedious.

Deposit and Withdrawal.
There aren't many deposit options. They have your Credit\Debit Cards, Paybox, PaySafe, and Pre-Paid Card options. Withdrawing to any of these except MasterCard are available, but the deposit options struggle.

Sports offered.
They offer your popular sports, but not every sport is available. They do have Basketball, Football, and Baseball along with a few others.

Betting option.
There are a bunch of different options including single and combo bets, More-way bets which allow a bettor to place several possible results on one betting ticket, live bets, parlays, etc. One problem is with this and a few other sportsbooks is you cannot cancel a bet. I suppose if you called there support and the game didn't go off yet, you would be able too though.

Odds offered.
The Odds System is a little weird. They don't always display every sporting event that is supposed to be listed which is a little disappointing. It is pretty easy to view though it lacks some of the features that other premiere sportsbooks use.

Betting procedures.
Betting is fairly easy. Just click the sporting event you want and bet. All of your bets are held on a slip, so you can view them at any time.

Service and support.
There are plenty of numbers to call when needing service, as there are plenty of email address's too. The numbers on CashPoint are all direct numbers, usually to the staff's cell phone, so it is really convenient. When I called I got a direct connection with no wait.

Reliability.
They use SSL Security for transactions, and while they only offer a few deposit options there encryption is high, and I have never had any problems depositing via CashPoint.

Conclusion:
Not the best of sportsbooks, but it does the job. Again the market is very high for sportsbooks online, and there are better ones, but for new users, this is a good start. It's hard to determine what people like, so most of there business would come to people being referred to via word of mouth or first time users browsing the site.
