First impression, design and page load.
My first impression of Betfair was extremely high. I really love the way this looks. It is so crisp and clean and it loads very fast. Dialup users shouldn't have many problems with loading time.
Rating 9
Opening of account.
This requires more information then your basic sportsbook. There are 4 steps needed to take before you can start gambling and the next button can slow you down.
Rating 7
Site navigation.
I really like the Site Navigation here. It is simple yet very high tech. The left table can either be hidden if you need the whole page or it can be shown again by clicking the little arrow under the Betfair logo.
Rating 9
Deposit and Withdrawal.
Depositing is fairly easy at Betfair. You must register your card before depositing if you are going to use your card. There isn't a huge selection of methods but they do have your basic selection including Credit\Debit Card, Moneybookers, Bank Transfer, Western Union, and Cheque.
Rating 7
Sports offered.
All major sports are available here at Betfair including Basketball, Football, Baseball, Hockey, Soccer, and Golf.
Rating 9
Betting option.
There are a decent amount of Betting Options at Betfair including Single, Double, and Triple bets, Asian Handicap bets, Line, Range, and In-Play bets, etc. Also many sportsbook don't allow you to cancel bets, but Betfair allows you too, which I like a lot.
Rating 8
Odds offered.
Betfair has a very nice Odds system because what this system does is it updates every 15 to 30 seconds without you have to refresh, so any odds that updated are automatically posted in front of your eyes.
Rating 9
Betting procedures.
You may bet via the site, enter and submit, or you may call Betfair's telephone number to place a wager. Many sportsbooks offer this nowadays, but it is the reputable ones that offer helpful and friendly services. Betfair is one of them!
Rating 9
Service and support.
Service is very nice at Betfair. They have a whole bunch of options including Phone, Email and Postal Support. I have used there services a couple of times and have never had a problem.
Rating 9
Reliability.
Betfair uses SSL Security along with high end Encryption. When you make an online deposit, it goes through there acquiring bank, The Royal Bank of Scotland. No information is kept on Betfair's system after a deposit is made through that bank.
Rating 8
Conclusion:
Overall I really like Betfair. I will continue to use them on and on, and I especially like there phone support, and there wagering services through both the internet and the phone.
