Everton have won six of their last seven Premier League clashes against Manchester City, and will be keen to continue that excellent run against Roberto Mancini’s Champions League hopefuls on Saturday. While Man City are too far for Everton to catch, a win for the Toffees could play into the hands of both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, both of whom are involved in a keen battle with City’s for England’s fourth and fifth spots.

Barclays Premier League resumes this weekend with Everton hosting Manchester United in the first match at Goodison Park. Both teams have players returning from international duty for Saturday’s encounter and as a result we might see a lot of first team players missing from the starting line up.
