NFL Football: Week 15 – My Picks and One Review

Posted on | December 16, 2007 | No Comments

So now I’m already 0-2 before Sunday’s games. Great. Thanks a lot Cincinnati.

Let’s get right to my review of that game and my picks.

Cincinnati Bengals at San Francisco 49ers

My Pick: Bengals 27-16

Beaten by a 6th year QB making his first start? And what happened to the Bengals great offense? Forget being on different pages. They look like they have different play books!

The Result: 49ers 20-13

Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs

The Titans will do just enough to win this game. It shouldn’t be too hard considering the Chiefs are pretty hapless on offense.

My Pick: Titans 30-17

Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins

The favorite pick this week is the Dolphins. I really hope they finally get their first win and it might happen after the way the Ravens looked last week. However, I just don’t see the Dolphins mustering up enough of anything for this game. Against the Bills last week Miami quit in the second quarter.

My Pick: Ravens 21-10

New York Jets at New England Patriots

The only thing that could stop the Patriots in this one is God himself. What? There’s a major snow storm predicted during the game? Well, that’s close but not enough.

My Pick: Pats 42-7

Buffalo Bills at Cleveland Browns

This is almost a playoff game. The winner will have the inside track for the last Wildcard spot. I like both of these teams but I think the Browns are just a better team.

My Pick: Browns 30-24

Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers

The Seahawks are on a tear. The Panthers are just hoping the season will end.

My Pick: Seahawks 37-10

Arizona Cardinals at New Orleans Saints

What a difference a year makes? The Saints could do nothing wrong last year at this time, now they can do nothing right.

My Pick: Cardinals 23-17

Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs laid an egg last week. They won’t let that happen again. They clinch the NFC South with this win.

My Pick: Bucs 27-10

Green Bay Packers at St Louis Rams

The Pack keeps on rolling.

My Pick: Packers 37-21

Jacksonville Jaguars at Pittsburgh Steelers

Another great game. Both of these teams will want to run the ball. They both have good quarterbacks. The Steelers can prove they are the 3rd best team in the AFC while the Jags can show they deserve to be mentioned as one of the top teams.

Until the Jags show me they can win a big game, I just don’t have any faith in them.

My Pick: Steelers 26-20

Indianapolis Colts at Oakland Raiders

The Colts are getting rolling. Manning is getting more comfortable with Anthony Gonzalez as a WR. This one will be over at halftime.

My Pick: Colts 41-14

Detroit Lions at San Diego Chargers

The Lions nearly beat the Cowboys last week. They looked good. But the Chargers are looking even better.

My Pick: Chargers 31-17

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys needed a last second Tony Romo TD to win last week against the Lions. If they Boys struggle again (especially defensively) it might be time to get a little nervous. Yes, they’ll still hold the best record in the NFC but given their late season collapses the last 2 seasons, 2 bad games in a row won’t be a good sign.

My Pick: Cowboys 33-20

Washington Redskins at New York Giants

With Jason Campbell I would’ve taken the Skins. With Todd Collins, I’m going with the Giants.

My Pick: Giants 20-13

Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings are on a roll. Can you see over 200 yards rushing? I can.

My Pick: Vikings 27-10
