NFL Football: Week 12 – My Picks

Posted on | November 25, 2007 | No Comments

I already picked the three games on Thanksgiving and went 3-0. Now we’ll take a look at the rest of the games for this week.

New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers

This is a match-up that could go a long way in helping to sort of the NFC South. The Bucs have the inside track to win the division but the winner of this game won’t be too far back.

The Saints have been hot and cold all season but the Panthers have just been mostly cold. I like the Saints.

My Pick: Saints 27-12

Buffalo Bills at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Bills were on a roll until they ran into the Patriots’ buzz saw last week.
The Jaguars have been playing pretty good football all year, especially when they have Gerard.

The difference in this one will be Gerrard and the fact that this game is in Jacksonville.

My Pick: Jaguars 23-16

Washington Redskins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Redskins looked good against the Cowboys even though they lost last week. Jason Campbell looks to be coming into his own. Another good performance this week will be huge step for the Redskins and for Campbell. I have a feeling he’ll take a step back in this one.

My Pick: Buccaneers 27-17

Seattle Seahawks at St. Louis Rams

The Rams continue to play better football. The Seahawks continue to play inconsistent football. I like the Rams.

My Pick: Rams 31-23

Minnesota Vikings at New York Giants

AP might be back for this one but it’s not going to matter. The Giants keep on rolling.

My Pick: Giants 27-10

Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs

Oakland is still a mess. The only thing interesting about this team is when they’ll decide to go with rookie quarterback JaMarcus Russell.

My Pick: Chiefs 24-12

Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans

This is a battle of a team that struggles to throw the ball (Vince Young and the Titans) and a team that can’t stop the pass. I think there’ll be a lot of offense in this one.

My Pick: Bengals 37-31

Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns

These are two teams that are much better than they were last year. The Browns can score points and have all season. The Texans are much better when they have Shaub and Andre Johnson. This should be a pretty exciting game.

My Pick: Texans 28-23

San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals can look very good some times. The 49ers always make their opponents look pretty good. That all adds up to the Cards being in a good post.

My Pick: Cardinals 31-10

Baltimore Ravens at San Diego Chargers

This is a battle between two of the most disappointing teams in the NFL. I think the Ravens may score a couple defensive touchdowns but that’ll be all the scoring they’ll do.

My Pick: Chargers 23-14

Denver Broncos at Chicago Bears

The Broncos are another inconsistent team. The Bears are another huge disappointment this year. But things will be looking up for the Bears in this one.

My Pick: Bears 23-16

Philadelphia Eagles at New England Patriots

The question is no longer if the Pats will win but by how many points. In this game though, I’ll be interested in if the Eagles blitz can get to Brady.

My Pick: Patriots 41-14

Miami Dolphins at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers suffered a horrible loss to the then one-win New York Jets last week. Can they lose this week to the no-win Miami Dolphins? Not likely.

My Pick: Steelers 27-7
