NFL Football: Week 9 Preview

If you are any type of NFL fan and you have a television, there’s no doubt that you’ve heard about the big match-up this Sunday – the undefeated Indianapolis Colts hosting the undefeated New England Patriots. But there are a lot of other great games taking place this Sunday and Monday too.
There is plenty of time to talk about the New England – Indianapolis game, and we will spend at least one entire blog entry covering it. However, there are other important games as well.
There is a big NFC East battle between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles. For the Cowboys, they can continue to lead the division. For the Eagles, they can get right back into the division race. Though the Cowboys are at the top of the division and the Eagles are currently at the bottom, it is the Eagles who’ve been the class of the division for years and they can easily get back into the race this weekend if they beat the Cowboys.
There is another big match-up on Monday night between the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens will try to get a big win while the Steelers will try to at least look like they are somewhat close to the Pats and Colts in the AFC.
Another big game will be played in Kansas City between the Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers. The Packers have the best record in the NFC and they are looking to continue their success. The Chiefs want to show that they can play good football and that they still can make the playoffs. For the Packers, who’ve won a lot of close games this season, they want to show that they can win a pretty tough game on the road.
But all the NFL will be anxiously awaiting the big game of the week – it’s one of the biggest regular season games in the history of the NFL. The Pats and the Colts should be a great match-up and the winner of the game will have a shot at going undefeated for the entire season. In tomorrow’s blog we’ll take an in-depth look at this game. We’ll look at how the Pats have become the most hated team in the NFL and we’ll take a look at how the two teams match-up on each side of the ball.

Colts vs. Packers is a solid bet for the Super Bowl Matchup.

Not too familiar with NFL but I’ll give both suggestions a try

Not sure I’d call Colts and Packers a “solid bet” for the Super Bowl. Though I do like both of them to reach their conference championship games. But I think the Pack will lose to the ‘Boys in the NFC Championship.
