It’s time for another checkup on the world of the MLB. We are now 14-16 games into the season, depending on the team, and the shift I promised last week has started to take place. Slowly, the good teams are rising and the bad teams that looked good are starting the fail. The schedule was very misbalanced these first two weeks and many sports bettors got mixed signals on just who was good and who was bad. If you have followed the MLB picks on this website, you know that I have been pretty accurate with them.

Many MLB starters now have three starts under their belt and most regular starters will eclipse this point within one or two days. We are really starting to get a feel for teams. For example, we can see that the Mariners and their bullpen have issues. They blew another game today. We can see that Pedro Martinez and the Mets are pretty good combination. We can see that Detroit is not a great team, but is not necessarily a bottom feeding team either. Everything is slowly coming together.

Here’s what should be your plan. The rotations are finishing up for the third time. In another day or two, we will begin the fourth evolution of the rotation and now it’s time to start increasing the number of weekly MLB plays. Wednesday is a big day. Many teams will begin their fourth evolution. I will be releasing a couple plays on Wednesday most likely. One last thing we are beginning to see: what pitchers are getting the run support and what pitchers are not. This is an important thing to monitor. There are some pitchers out there that, for whatever reason, just don’t get any run support.
