UEFA Cup betting March 15th 2006

Out of the three UEFA Cup 2nd leg matchups tonight, Roma vs. Middlesbrough interest me the most. A lot of punters will go for Roma as they are playing very well for the past 10 matches in Serie A and as for Middlesbrough they has been pretty inconsistent lately, lying 15th in the Premiership table. So inconsistent they are at one time they whipped giant Chelsea 3-0 but were also badly beaten by Arsenal 7-0! In Europe is another matter though, they have always managed to put in a good performance and came out favorably. Thanks to a penalty goal last week at home against Roma during the 1st leg I don’t think coach McClaren would adopt a defensive style of play. An away goal will surely kill off Roma tonight! Roma will be missing strikers Montella, Totti and Nonda, pretty toothless if you ask me. I will gladly accept the +3/4 1.97 handicap offered by the bookies.
