March Madness: 3 Big Three Teams

As we head toward the major conference’s tournaments, and inch ever closer to March Madness and the NCAA tournament, there are 3 big teams that are major favorites to reach the Final Four. And there’s one team that should be favored above all the others.

First of all, the Kansas Jayhawks, the Kentucky Wildcats, and the Syracuse Orange are clearly the 3 best teams in all of basketball. These are 3 teams that do just about everything well. No other teams in this year’s tourney can match-up with these teams. But, while these teams are odds-on favorites they certainly aren’t guaranteed to reach the Final Four. Anyone of these teams could lose in any round except probably the first.

But I fully expect these 3 teams to be in the Final Four. Furthermore, I also expect Kansas State to be in the Final Four. Of course, this depends on the brackets. But don’t be surprised if K State knocks off Kansas in the Big 12 tourney and takes the last remaining #1 seed. Of course, this would mean that four #1 seeds make it to the Final Four and that’s pretty much impossible. But, until the brackets actually come out, these are the teams that have to be the favorites.

But which team is the best team? Is it the #1 ranked Kansas Jayhawks? Nope. Is if the #2 ranked Kentucky Wildcats? No. It is the #3 ranked Syracuse Orange. Yeah, I know that Orange just lost to Louisville. But Rick Pitino has their number and the Cardinals shot lights out against the Orange. Other than 2 losses to Louisville, the Orange only have 1 lose. And that was a long time ago to Pitt. Plus, the Orange haven’t gotten much out of their best player in the last month and a half or so. Wes Johnson has bothered by a bad hand. But that hand is starting to feel better and should be just about healed after a nice 5 day rest period before the Big East Tournament.

So, there you have the 3 big teams in the Nation. Kansas, Kentucky, and Syracuse are head and shoulders above all other teams in the county. And the Syracuse Orange have to be the favorite to win it all.
