Aston Villa could move above the Gunners into third place if they beat Arsene Wenger’s side away from home on Sunday afternoon. Arsenal are equal on points with the Villans, but the North London outfit do have a game in hand.
Arsenal are two points behind Manchester United in the league table, and can put pressure on Sir Alex Ferguson’s men by beating Villa on Sunday afternoon. United are in action later on Sunday against Hull City, the side Arsenal brushed aside 3-0 last weekend. A sublime goal from Denilson and strikes from Eduardo and Abou Diaby allowed Arsenal to beat Hull 3-0. Gunners keeper Manuel Almunia also played his part, stopping a penalty from Hull’s Geovanni when the hosts were leading 1-0.
