NFL: 2 More for Week 13

Yesterday we took a look at 3 big games for this week. But those aren’t the only big games this weekend. There are a lot more big games but 2 of them stick out. They are the Dallas Cowboys visiting the New York Giants and Baltimore at Green Bay.
Baltimore Ravens at Green Bay Packers
We’ll start with this game. This looked like it could be an awesome game when the schedule came out. But neither of these teams have lived up to expectations. So, this is a game that’s all about making the playoffs. The Ravens are 6-5 and in danger of falling back in a pack of teams. That would make it difficult for the Ravens to advance to the playoffs. The Packers are in good position to make the playoffs but a loss could be devastating to their chances.
The bottom line here is that the Ravens defense isn’t what it was last year. Their offense isn’t very good either. However, they did play well against the Steelers. But I think Rodgers will make enough plays for Green Bay and I think the Packers will win by a little more than a touchdown.
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants
A couple days ago I wrote a lot about this match-up. So, we might as well get right to the pick.
The Cowboys lost in week 2 to the Giants on a last second field goal. But the Cowboys lost the turnover battle 4-0. To stay in the game says a lot. Plus the Cowboys are a lot better defensively than that team was. And the Giants aren’t as good on either side of the ball.
My pick is Dallas by 10 points. But I don’t feel really comfortable with that pick. Anything can happen in December with the Cowboys and the NFC East matchups can be wacky. Still, the Cowboys should be ready to play and they should be able to overwhelm the Giants.

A very nice article indeed. I think that the Cowboys should be ready to play and let’s see what happens with the Giants
