Today there are two games I am looking into betting, so I thought I would share them with you.

Game One: Atlanta Braves at Los Angeles Dodgers 7:10pm PST

Game Two: LA Angels at Seattle Mariners 7:05pm PST

Let’s jump into game one. The Dodgers are at home today. Yesterday, they lost by one run (11-10), but the game was really out of hand early. The Dodgers showed that they can score runs and really, if you take away the ineffective D. Lowe, the Dodgers win the game. I like them today at home. They are a +115 dog and Brad Penny is on the mound. The Braves are throwing John Smoltz against the Dodgers. I look for the Dodgers to jump out to a lead early and keep it. The under/over is at 7, which is mighty tempting. I assume most betters are going to shy away from the over given the 21 run outburst from these teams, but both of these teams can score.

In the second game of the night, we head to Seattle. Yesterday’s game ended up 5-4 Angels. The game was 3-3 until the end when the mediocre Mariners bullpen showed up. Here’s what you need to know. The two big hitters in the Mariners lineup, Beltre and Sexson were 0 for 8. Ichiro had one lone hit, yet they scored 4 runs and gave up 5 ( 9 total). The under/over is only 8 and I love the over. The Angels are putting Lackey on the mound and Pinero takes the mound for the Mariners. Pineiro has looked lackluster this spring and he is almost a guaranteed 3-4 run pitcher. Can Lackey shut down the Mariners hitting for a second straight day? Possibly, but my money is on them scoring at least 3-4 runs.
