Game : Fulham FC vs Hull City
Venue : Craven Cottage, London
Competition : Barclays Premier League
Date: 19 October 2009
Kick Off: 2000 BST
Fulham, who celebrate their 130th anniversary this week play host to Hull City in the Monday game of this week’s Barclays Premier League. Although it should be a festive atmosphere at the Cottage, Roy Hodgson would be aware of the importance of this tie, considering that both Fulham and Hull City are in the bottom five with seven points apiece.

Fulham form last five games (most recent first)
West Ham 2-2 Fulham (Murphy, Gera)
Fulham 1-0 Basel (Murphy)
Fulham 0-1 Arsenal
Man City 2-1 Fulham (Zoltan Gera)
Wolves 2-1 Fulham (Danny Murphy)
The weight of European football seems to have proved a bit too much for the Cottagers. Fulham play their 15th game of the season, more than any other team in the League. Also, they could be distracted by the midweek tie against Roma.
Fulham will be without the suspended Kagisho Dikagcoi who begins to serve his three-match ban for violent conduct against West Ham. Simon Davies is a doubt with an ankle problem while Stockdale and Kallio are long-term absentees.
Last five games – Hull City -(Most recent first)
Hull 2-1 Wigan (JV Hesselink, Geovanni)
Liverpool 6-1 Hull (Geovanni)
Everton 4-0 Hull
Hull 0-1 Birmingham City
Sunderland 4-1 Hull City (Zayatte)
Hull City are third from bottom, and at -12 goal difference, they have the worst record in the League. Phil Brown has come under immense pressure from all quarters. The results in the recent past have not helped either. Hull have won only one of their last five, scoring only three goals and conceeding 16. Tigers will be hoping to field their influential midfielder Jimmy Bullard, who signed for them from Fulham after a long layoff through injury. Anthony Gardner could also make his first appearance since August. Ian Ashbee and Richard Garcia are not fit for action yet.
Verdict :- With such a paucity of attacking conviction on both sides, it’ll be foolish to expect a freely flowing game. An engrossing low-scoring draw is on the cards.
Fulham 1-1 Hull City (Murphy//Geovanni)

Interesting item, I can see that you prediction might well be a good bet. But I just fancy Fulham to scrape through.
