NCAA Championship

I’ve got to hand it to UCLA. I knew they were a good team, but I thought that next year would be their year. I thought they were too young to make it to the final game, but here they are. Tonight at 9:20 pm EST the NCAA Championship game tips between UCLA and Florida. The line on the game has remained steady—Florida is a 1.5 point favorite. The over/under on the game is 128. Many sports handicappers are predicting a game in the 60’s for each team, so a 128 point favorite seems about right. Florida can score in the 80’s if UCLA does not shut down their 3-point ability.
These two teams should provide an entertaining game, unlike the two games last round, which were both blowouts and boring. UCLA must shut down Florida’s 3-point game to have a shot. Still, Florida owns the inside game. If UCLA can limit Florida to scoring inside, they have a shot at winning. I really like Florida in this game. I would love them more if the line were 1 point. That half point is just screaming out. This game is interesting, because it could be an all out blowout or a very close game.
UCLA is a tough team and this game is going to be a physical one. The NCAA really needs a solid championship game to erase the memory of the Final Four, which featured two games that really should not have been played. Here’s to a great NCAA Championship game! Look for Florida to come out on top.
