Charlotte Bobcats vs Minnesota Timberwolves

The Timberwolves are going into this game to strengthen their position as the final team from the Western Conference to qualify for a playoff berth. With three teams just 1 ½ games behind them, they have to be on their toes for the remainder of the season to ensure their place in post season basketball. After going on a disappointing 2-10 record before turning the tables to win 3 of their last 4, Minnesota seem to be getting their game together again. Kevin Garnett continues to deliver impressive numbers, with 26 points and 13 rebounds despite their 112-100 loss to the Wizards on Tuesday.
The Bobcats had a great shooting game against New Orleans on the same day, with 10 three-pointers to take the game at 104-100. Raymond Felton led the Bobcats with 21 points and Emeka Okafor had 16 points and 15 rebounds in that game. With a two-game winning streak, they are hoping to win this game to tie their season high three in a row as they play the Timberwolves at the Target Center tonight. Garnett and company have never lost to the Bobcats at home and had won 3 out of 5 previous matchups between the two. With more reason to win this game than Charlotte, it is no surprise that the Timberwolves will continue to dominate the Bobcats at home. Bodog calls a 7.5 handicap in favor of the Bobcats, and you can expect Minnesota to win the game, but not by so much.
