Pinnaclesports out, vultures picking the pieces

Pinnaclesports have officially announced they are pulling out of US market as of 11th January 2006. This is indeed a sad news for US clients as Pinnaclesports has always been the forefront of best prices, the market leader in terms of Odds provided, the preferred Bookmaker for professional punters. They provide massive amount of propositions and with their minimum bets of $1, anyone can place leisure bets unlike other bookmakers who have a minimum of $5 per bet. Below is the email they sent out on Thursday :

Dear Pinnacle Sports’ Client,
Please note that any wagers currently pending in your account will be honored by Pinnacle Sports. As your wagers are graded, you may use the Cashier of your account to request any balance due.

You may, of course, use your Cashier now to request a withdrawal for your current balance.

Bad news for Pinnaclesports but good news for other bookmakers who are still accepting US clients. Several of them have started sending out emails to affiliates enticing them to forward their paying clients to their website with bonus offers.

Examples like Intertops who is currently offering every former Pinnacle clients to open a new account with them by 31st January with a “fabulous” 100% Matchup Bonus of up to $50. Betcris themselves sends out email to affiliates with the possible offer of book to book transfer from Pinnaclesports to Betcris. However a second email from them pointing out their errors and stating that clients will not be able to make a book to book transfer and will be required to do it the old fashion way, that is opening an account and make a deposit directly… duh!

If you’re from the US and looking for an alternative book, don’t forget to give Bodog a try, a brand name in the US and holding steadfastly not to pull out from US. Read our extensive review on Bodog.
