Liverpool vs Watford

Judging over the last 2 or 3 weeks I believe Liverpool have played the best football in the premiership and are scoring goals for fun. We normally don’t associate Liverpool with scoring a lot of goals off late but they have been nothing short of magnificent. Whatever you hear from people and Rafa Benitez that they have to be careful, but this should be an easy 3 points for the team from Mersyside. The only thing that could be positive for them is that they have traveled to Anfield only once before in the premiership and managed to win it by a single goal in 1999. This season Liverpool have been unbeaten at home and Watford will surely not pose a threat to that statistic.
Rafael Benitez has stayed away from tinkering with his side and that has proved to be very fruitful and the team has managed to play very well jelling together as a unit. He will not be forced to make a change to the team that played last week, but could give a couple of players a rest looking forward to the busy Christmas schedule.
James Chambers is a doubt for the visiting team and facing a late medical test. Ben Foster, the on-loan keeper from Manchester United is also not likely to make it for this trip. Marlon King is still out with his long term injury and would definitely miss the entire Christmas period.
Liverpool to win this match easily would be everybody’s prediction. Asian Handicap on Liverpol (-1.5, -2) at 1.92 is a good bet. Either team not to score is at 1.61 is a safe bet. Craig Bellamy has been in super hot form, and if he starts you can bet that he would get on the score sheet sometime in the match. For him to score a goal you get odds of 2.25.
