Arsenal have the chance to overtake Aston Villa in the league table when they take on Blackburn Rovers at home on Saturday.
The Gunners ended their run of five straight league draws when they beat West Bromwich Albion 3-1 in their last Premiership game. Nicklas Bendtner scored twice, while Kolo Toure also getting himself on the score sheet.
There is bound to be some fatigue in the Arsenal camp. The Gunners were forced to play 120 minutes in Rome before triumphing in a nerve wracking penalty shoot out. Emmanuel Adebayor, Cesc Fabregas, Eduardo, Mikael Silvestre and Tomas Rosicky are all out for Arsenal.

After a miserable start to the season, things seem to be getting better at Ewood Park under Sam Allardyce. They are unbeaten in three league games, and have climbed out of the relegation zone.
Rovers are still only two points above the drop zone, and Allardyce will be looking to get at least a point at the Emirates. Both Brett Emerton and Steven Reid are out with long term injuries.
