Game : Liverpool vs Real Madrid
Competition : UEFA Champions League Round of 16- Second Leg
Liverpool won the first leg 1-0 in Madrid.
Venue : Anfield, Liverpool

Real Madrid travel to Anfield to face Liverpool in the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie on Tuesday evening- a match which could go a long way in deciding the futures of both Juande Ramos and his opposite number Rafa Benitez.
Liverpool’s title challenge has melted away, and the Champions League looks like their best chance of silverware this season. They put in a very defensive minded performance at the Bernabeu, but won thanks to a late goal from Benayoun. Albert Riera is suspended for the Reds, and Benayoun and Torres are struggling to be fit in time for this all important clash.
Liverpool form- last five games- all competitions
Liverpool 2-0 Sunderland ( David Ngog, Yossi Benayoun)
Middlesbrough 2-0 Liverpool
Real Madrid 0-1 Liverpool ( Yossi Benayoun)
Liverpool 1-1 Man City ( Dirk Kuyt)
Portsmouth 2-3 Liverpool ( Fabio Aurelio, Dirk Kuyt, Fernando Torres)
Real drew 1-1 against Atletico in their weekend Spanish La Liga game. It was a tie they could have lost had Sergio Aguero exhibited better finishing in front of goal.
Real were uncharacteristically poor at the Bernabeu in the first leg, hardly creating a chance of note. They need to score an away goal, and that will be difficult as Benitez is renowned for his ability to tactically shut teams out in Europe.
Remember- Klaas Jan Huntelaar is ineligible to play against Liverpool. The likes of Sneijder, Van der Vaart, Robben and Raul will play key roles in this game.
Real Madrid form- last five games- all competitions
Real Madrid 1-1 Atletico Madrid ( Klaas Jan Huntelaar)
Espanyol 0-2 Real Madrid ( Guti, Raul)
Real Madrid 0-1 Liverpool
Real Madrid 6-1 Real Betis ( Raul*2, Klaas Jan Huntelaar*2, Sergio Ramos, Gonzalo Higuain)
Sporting Gijon 0-4 Real Madrid ( Raul*2, Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Marcelo)
Fact:- Liverpool have won only two of their last twelve European matches against Spanish teams.
I think Liverpool have enough in them to go through. Liverpool 2-1 Real, with Gerrard, Alonso and Raul scoring.
