Blackburn will be looking forward for the visit of Tottenham Hotspurs on the last kick off on Sunday evening. Blackburn Rovers have not lost 4 games on the trot in the league, and Mark Hughes is desperate to get a win under their belt. They have not performed that bad at home, but have been very poor on their travels. On the other hand Tottenham had got a decent run of results going until they shockingly lost to Reading, with Reading coming from behind and punishing them 3-1. Before last week, they were undefeated in their last 10 league and cup games. Spurs have accumulated only 2 points away from home this season, and have yet to score from Open play. Tottenham have not lost to Blackburn in their last 5 matches in the premier league. Blackburn Rovers have had the worst discipline record in the premiership getting over 30 yellow cards and 1 red card.

Martin Jol still has problems with injuries in his side, young starlet Aaron Lennon is still out with a knee problem and so is Jermaine Jenas who misses out with a calf strain. Other players who are keeping the Physio’s busy are Pascal Chimbonda and Anthony Gardner. Robby Savage is now fit from his thigh problem and will most probably start and try and dictate the mid field play in the match. For Blackburn Zurab Khizanishvili and Lucas Neill both miss out for this match. Morten Gamst Pedersen is a doubt for this match, but could just make it to the subs bench if not the starting line up.

Looking at their discipline record, you can look at putting a bet on a Blackburn player to get the first card at 1.95. Blackburn to win either half at 1.72 is also a decent bet but slightly risky. I am going with a half time draw at 2.10 as a safer bet, as both team are not having a great run and any one can manage to knick it on the counter.
