Sheffield United vs. Manchester United

The league leaders travel to Sheffield United who are lying just above the relegation spot entering this weekend. They are currently just a point above 18th place and desperately want to move away from the dreaded zone. Manchester United have been in supreme form this season, and are gunning for the seventh successive win in the premiership. This match is pretty important when you look at their fixture list, with Celtic away from home in the Champions Leauge and then they play the Champions at home on 26th November. Ferguson will want his team to win convincingly at the Steel City so his lads can carry the confidence for the crucial fixtures coming up.
Manchester United have declared all players from the squad to be match fit, including Ronaldo who suffered a niggle last week versus Blackburn. Giggs was also doubtful but looks like he will make it for this match. Gary Neville has shaken off worries of a Calf problem and is likely to lead the Red devils on Saturday. The United defense is looking solid this season, and Patrice Evra will most likely keep out Gabriel Heinze to retain his place. If Sir Alex Ferguson does not have any injury worries and all goes well, it should most probably be the same squad which will take the field like they did in their last three matches. For Sheff Utd, Danny Webber and Claude Davis will face late fitness test and are not certain for the match. Paddy Kenny should be available for this match after the controversy he was involved in this entire week. Kabba, Tonge and Bromby all look certain to miss out when United come to town.
There are some good odds that you can put your money on. Manchester United to keep a clean sheet is at 1.72, and to win with a clean sheet is 2.10. Louis Saha to score in the match is at the odds of 1.90. On the whole Manchester United should win this match, but I don’t think they will win it with a big margin.
