NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers Offense vs. Arizona Cardinals Defense

The match-up between the Steelers offense and the Cardinals defense is the less sexy match-up of this game. The more attractive match-up is the Steelers defense against the Cardinals defense. But this will be interesting to watch as well.
The reason? Well, because Big Ben will make or break the way many people see him by how he performs in this game.
Yes, I know Ben already won a Super Bowl but he didn’t play well in that game. In fact, the only reason why he won that game was because of the Steelers defense and the Steelers running game. Ben has even been very open about his poor play in the past Super Bowl. I heard certain commentators say this is a mistake because he’s giving the media a story.
I say he already gave the media the story a long time ago. Everyone remembers that he didn’t do anything to earn that ring except hand the ball off and limit his mistakes just enough to not lose the game. If Ben really wants to be considered one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL then he better play well on Sunday.
And that is the match-up to look at on Sunday. How will Big Ben do against the Cardinals defense? Will he be able to exploit the Cardinals defense? He should be able to. But will he?
The other thing to watch is whether the Cardinals can get to Ben and when they do will they be able to bring him to the ground? Because when they get to him they better make sure they bring him down. All of Ben’s big plays seem to come after he asks a pass rush and throws to a receiver who is improvising.
So that is the Steelers offense vs. the Cardinals defense. I would think that the Steelers should be able to win that battle a few times on the day.
