NFL: Who Will Handle the Super Bowl Hype Better

Well, the Super Bowl odds are out and the Pittsburgh Steelers are favored by about 7 points. That’s no surprise. No surprise at all.
But will the Steelers win or do the Cardinals have yet one more trick up their sleeves? Can the Cardinals pull off one more upset?
One major factor will be which team can handle the pressure of the big game better. Believe it or not, I think the Cardinals have the edge here.
Yeah, I know there are still a lot of members on the Steelers who won the Super Bowl just a couple years ago. l know they still have Big Ben, Hines Ward, and many others. But they don’t have Boll Cowher and I think that will hurt them. I know Mike Tomlin is a bad dude but he’s never been a Head Caoch in a Super Bowl and he is really young.
On the other sideline, Ken Wisenhunt was part if that Steelers team. And then Kurt Warner is about as cool of a customer as anyone can be. The rest of the Cardinals team seems too young to get all tensed up in big games. Want proof? Just look at the way the Cardinals came out on fire against a much more experienced Philadelphia Eagles team.
So, I would actually give the Cardinals the edge in handling the pressure of a big game. But the Steelers do have their defense and their running game to fall back on. And that will help them handle all the pressure of the Super Bowl.
But if the Cardinals can get off to a fast start like they did against the Eagles then we just might see the Cardinals get up by a couple touchdowns before the Steelers are even able to settle into the game. If that happens, then suddenly the Cardinals will force the Steelers to be a little more aggressive on offense, and that’s not that when they are at their best.
