NFL: Looking at Saturday’s Divisional Playoff Games

As we move into the next round of the playoffs, there are 4 big games to be played.
The two games on Saturday are the Baltimore Ravens at the Tennessee Titans and the Arizona Cardinals at the Carolina Panthers. Let’s look at both of these games right now:
Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans
The Titans are the #1 seed in the AFC and were thought to be the best team in the NFL for a major part of the season. That’s thanks to the Titans making a run at going undefeated.
The major name that makes me a little scared about this game is Ray Lewis. Ray knows how to win in the playoffs. And he leads a defense that can be dominant.
But the Titans have a few things in their favor. Kerry Collins has been to the Super Bowl before. Jeff Fisher is a coach with Super Bowl experience and he just might be the best coach in the NFL.
I think the difference in this game is the fact that the Ravens have a rookie coach and a rookie quarterback.
The Ravens might pull out an upset if they get turnovers. But I think the Titans will run the ball and protect the ball and win the game.
My Pick: The Titans
Arizona Cardinals at Carolina Panthers
The Cardinals are like 0-6 on the east coast this year. The Panthers are undefeated at home.
This game could get ugly really fast.
But you know what? I didn’t give the Cards much of a chance last week either. So, I will give them a chance this week. But not much more than that.
The Cards will also probably be without Anquan Boldin. So that will hurt them. And if the Cards are going to have a chance then they better score a lot of points. I don’t think they will.
My Pick: The Panthers
