Is it possible to go into Wild Card weekend favoring all the road teams? Well, it certainly is and that’s what we’re seeing this week. The #5 and #6 seed in each conference are clearly better teams than the #3 and #4 seeds.

In the AFC we will see the #6 seeded Baltimore Ravens visit the Miami Dolphins. The Ravens have been a better team all season. However, I think this is the best chance for the home team to win.

The Ravens thrive on their opponents turning the ball over and Miami doesn’t turn it over. In fact, Miami led the NFL with the least turnovers all season. I also like the match-ups of Miami’s defense against the Baltimore offense and I think Miami’s offense will be able to put up a few points on the Ravens’ defense.

So, will I go with the Dolphins. Well, you’ll have to wait and see on Friday.

As for a game I am pretty sure of – the Colts at the Chargers and the Falcons at the Cardinals. Both of these games should definitely be won by the road team.

The Colts have been on a roll for the last 10 games or so. The Chargers snuck into the playoffs with an 8-8 record. The Colts should absolutely roll in this game.

The Cardinals have been horrible the last couple of months. The Falcons are a very solid team. So, I think the Falcons will win by about 4 touchdowns.

Of course, my official predictions won’t come out until Friday.

The other game is the Philadelphia Eagles visiting the Minnesota Vikings. This game should favor the Eagles but the Vikings do have a decent shot. They need to try to ride Adrian Petersen to the win. And they need to protect the ball, which could be a problem with Petersen’s propensity to turn the ball over.

Of course, on Friday I’ll give a few more thoughts and let you know my official predictions.
