Venue : Villa Park, Birmingham
Date : December 26, 2008 ( Boxing Day)
Competition : English Premier League
Kickoff : 17.15 GMT
Aston Villa will look to complete a double over Arsenal when they welcome the Gunners to Villa Park on Boxing Day. The Villans won 2-0 at Ashburton Grove earlier this season, in what has been one of the defining moments of their season so far.
Martin O’Neill might have to do without the services of reliable centre back Martin Laursen for this game. Laursen suffered a knee injury in the 1-0 win over West Ham last week. Striker John Carew remains sidelined, but with Ashley Young and Gabriel Agbonlahor both being in excellent touch, Villa have not been made to feel the Norwegian’s absence.

Arsenal drew 1-1 against league leaders Liverpool, a credible result considering that they played for much of the second half with only ten men. On top of it, they lost skipper Cesc Fabregas to injury, and will go into this game without Fabregas and the suspended Emmanuel Adebayor. That means Wenger might ask Diaby to slot into the centre as Rosicky, Walcott and Eduardo are still injured.
Arsenal form- last five games
Arsenal 1-1 Liverpool ( Robin Van Persie)
Middlesbrough 1-1 Arsenal ( Emmanuel Adebayor)
FC Porto 2-0 Arsenal

Burnley 2-0 Arsenal- Carling Cup

An important game in the scheme of things. Villa are well organised, and Arsenal will know that defeat might mean the end of their title aspirations.
A 1-1 draw, with Barry and Van Persie scoring. The 1-1 scoreline at 10Bet, is at 6.300 to end as the final score.
