NFL: Who You Got?

So, as we creep toward the final weekend of regular season games in the NFL, it’s time to look at who’s in the playoffs and who will probably get into the playoffs. Then, just for kicks, let’s look at potential match-ups and predict how the playoffs will go.
Let’s start with the AFC today and then we’ll get to the NFC tomorrow.
Here we go:
The playoff spots that we know are:
1. Tennessee Titans
2. Pittsburgh Steelers
3.
4.
5. Indianapolis Colts
6.
It looks like the Ravens will probably get the #6 seed. The 3 and 4 seed will go to the winner of the AFC East and the AFC West respectively. So I will take the Dolphins and the Chargers.
So the seeds will look like this:
1. Titans
2. Steelers
3. Dolphins
4. Chargers
5. Colts
6. Ravens
That would make the first weekend games look like this:
Indianapolis Colts at San Diego Chargers and Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins. Has there ever been 2 Wild Card game in which both Wild Card teams were favored? Come to think of it, in the NFC I might favor both Wild Card teams too (but we’ll get to that tomorrow).
I really like the Colts big over the Chargers and I like the Ravens to shut down Miami and move on to play in Tennessee.
That would put the division playoffs this way:
Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers.
Both of these games would be battles. I like the Titans to outlast the Ravens. I just don’t see the Ravens scoring enough points on the Titans. And I think the Titans can move the ball just enough to eek out a win.
I also like the Colts over the Steelers. Though the weather could make a huge difference here. But the Steelers only win when they get turnovers and I just don’t see them getting Manning to throw INTs.
So that would a championship game between the Titans and the Colts.
Again, this would be a battle. I just like Peyton Manning over Collins. Sorry. I just don’t see the Colts losing in the Championship game to the Titans.
So, from the AFC the Colts will go to the Super Bowl. Tomorrow we’ll see who they will face from the NFC.
