Here we go. There are a lot of big games this weekend. And the playoff picture will begin to become even clearer. However, most likely it won’t be completely set until the end of the season.

Here’s how I see this week’s NFL games shaping up:

Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars

This game was played last night. The Colts won their eighth straight game. Yet, I’m still not sold on the Colts.

The Jags are a bad team and they lost the game more than the Colts won it.

Baltimore Ravens at Dallas Cowboys

This game should be a war.

Both of these teams could make a lot of noise in the playoffs. However, neither of them are even guaranteed the playoffs. The winner of this game will look a lot better for playing in the postseason but, if that is Dallas, then they will still probably need to win the next week in Philadelphia.

The Cowboys defense should be able to shutdown the Ravens offense and the Cowboys offense should be able to score just enough to win this game.

My Pick: The Cowboys

New Orleans Saints at Detroit Lions

This game would be meaningless except for the fact that the Lions still haven’t won a game this year.

The Lions will have one win after this week. Mark it down.

My Pick: The Lions

Pittsburgh Steelers at Tennessee Titans

Here is another war. And this one is for the #1 seed in the AFC.

If this game were in Pittsburgh then I would go with the Steelers. But it’s in Tennessee and I will go with the Titans.

The difference may be Big Ben turning the ball over.

My Pick: The Titans

San Francisco 49ers at St Louis Rams

The 49ers are an improving team. The Rams have already started their offseason.

My Pick: The 49ers

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns

Who cares?

My Pick: The Browns

Miami Dolphins at Kansas City Chiefs

The Dolphins are getting set for a huge game next week against the New York Jets. Will they look past the Chiefs?

I think they will a little bit but they’ll still pull it out in the 4th quarter.

My Pick: The Dolphins

Arizona Cardinals at New England Patriots

The Cards have been horrible the past month. This is a huge confidence game for them.

The Pats have to win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

I like the Pats in a rout.

My Pick” The Patriots
