Competition : English Premier League
Date : Saturday, December 6, 2008

Venue : Craven Cottage, London
Manchester City face a tricky fixture when they travel to West London to take on Fulham in an early Saturday kickoff in the Premiership. Victory for City would see them leapfrog the Cottagers in the table, but a loss will drag them into the relegation zone if Tottenham, Newcastle and Sunderland win their weekend games.
City rested Micah Richards, Robinho and Shaun Wright Phillips against PSG, and were unimpressive in their goalless draw against PSG in the UEFA Cup on Wednesday. Midfielder Elano also suffered a groin injury, which means he joins Gelson Fernandes, Michael Johnson, Martin Petrov and Valeri Bojinov on the sidelines.
City performance- last five games
Man City 0-0 PSG
Man City 0-1 Man Utd
Schalke 0-2 Man City ( Benjani Mwaruwari, Stephen Ireland)
Man City 3-0 Arsenal ( Robinho, Stephen Ireland, Daniel Sturridge)
Hull City 2-2 Man City ( Stephen Ireland*2)
City performance- last five games at home
Man City 0-0 PSG

Man City 3-0 Arsenal ( Robinho, Stephen Ireland, Daniel Sturridge)
Man City 1-2 Tottenham ( Robinho)
Man City 3-2 FC Twente ( Robinho, Shaun Wright Phillips, Benjani Mwaruwari)
In eight home games, City have won four and lost four this season.
Fulham have had an excellent run recently. They boast of one of the best home records in the Premiership and have done their away record no harm with hard fought draws against Liverpool and Aston Villa. Jimmy Bullard and Danny Murphy have been good in midfield, and Hangeland has been a rock in defence.
Fulham- last five games ( all competitions)
Aston Villa 0-0 Fulham
Liverpool 0-0 Fulham
Fulham 2-1 Tottenham ( Simon Davies, Andy Johnson)
Fulham 2-1 Newcastle ( Andy Johnson, Danny Murphy)
Everton 1-0 Fulham
Fulham last five home games
Fulham 2-1 Tottenham ( Simon Davies, Andy Johnson)
Fulham 2-1 Newcastle ( Andy Johnson, Danny Murphy
Fulham 2-0 West Brom ( Andy Johnson*2)

Fulham 1-2 West Ham ( Danny Murphy)
Corresponding fixture last season.
Fulham 3-3 Man City ( Simon Davies , Hamouer Bouazza , Danny Murphy/ Martin Petrov*2, Emile Mpenza )
Fulham vs Man City is a game that has always manage to produce at least one goal. I see this one ending in a 1-1 draw, with Johnson and Ireland scoring.
