NFL: Time for the Super Seven (Week 14 Edition)

It’s already that time of the week to once again put together the top 7 teams in the NFL.
This is getting harder and harder. The only spot I really feel good about is the #1 spot and with the cops knocking on Giants’ players doors, I’m not even as confident about that as I once was.
1. New York Giants
The Giants are clearly the best team in the NFL. Clearly.
I mean they are head and shoulders above the rest of the league just like the Pats were this time last year. And we all know about the Pats winning… wait… never mind.
But the Giants did lose Burress because he shot himself with an illegal gun. And they better be worried about LB Antonio Pierce. If it’s true that he took Burress’ gun back to New Jersey then he will be facing Federal charges. Not good.
2. Tennessee Titans
The Titans deserve to be here, though many rankings have the Steelers here and the Titans at #3. But just one loss shouldn’t hurt them that much. They are still the best team in the AFC.
3. Pittsburgh Steelers
The media’s darling right now. They win a game over the average Pats and suddenly everyone is saying they are Superbowl bound.
If they beat Dallas this weekend then they are certainly a threat to the Titans.
4. Dallas Cowboys
Say what you want, but no other team in the NFC could beat the Cowboys right now.
They have that huge game against the Steelers this Sunday. If they win then they will suddenly be seen as a threat to the Giants. And, look who’s next on their schedule.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs lost to the Cowboys when Dallas had Brad Johnson in the game. I can’t get past that.
Yet, the Bucs haven’t lost since so here they are.
6. Indianapolis Colts
I’m really not sold on this team either. But they keep winning.
7. Denver Broncos
Talk about not being sold. But they spanked the Jets… so there they go. Now let’s see how long they’ll stay here.
