NFL: Playoffs… Playoffs! Let’s Talk about the Playoffs
There are just four games left in the NFL regular season. And while a few teams are getting ready to punch their ticket to the postseason, and other teams know they won’t be going, there are a lot of teams that are playing for their playoff lives. So let’s take a look what the playoff picture looks like.
In the AFC the Tennessee Titans are a lock to make the playoffs. They have just one loss and the next closest team in their division (the Colts) are 8-4. While their 11 wins don’t have them officially in, they certainly will make it.
Other locks to make the playoffs in the AFC are the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Most likely the New York Jets will win the AFC East and the Baltimore Ravens and the Indianapolis Colts are the current favorites for the Wild Card spots.
Over in the NFC, the New York Giants have all but locked up the NFC East. The Arizona Cardinals will win the West even though they’ve been bad lately. The Vikings have a one game lead in the NFC North. Beyond that, the Panthers, Bucs, and Falcons are all battling for the NFC South.
For the Wild Card, the two teams that don’t win the South are leading the way but the Dallas Cowboys are right there at 8-4. Don’t count out the Washington Redskins or the Philadelphia Eagles either.
And in the NFC North, the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers are still chasing the Vikings. Most likely the Vikings will hold on.
Who will win the South? I’d have to say the Bucs. The Panthers are too inconsistent on offense and the Falcons are just too young, aren’t they?
As for the Wild Card spots, one will come from the South but I think the other one goes to the East. that will probably be the Cowboys.
