France Ligue 2 Amiens vs Bastia

Posted on | October 2, 2006 | No Comments

Both teams have been poor in their performance lately but 10th placed Amiens have a good chance to beat 8th placed Bastia tonight as the travelling team is facing all sort of problems at the moment. Key defender Laville is ruled out until November while fellow defender Arnaud Maire is suspended. Goalkeeper, Leca is injured along with striker Meslin. In addition to that, Lorenzi and Dolci are also ruled out. But the most important loss is captain, Pierre Andre. He misses this game due to the birth of his first child. Without him in the side, Bastia will struggle to maintain any composure and have a problem in scoring.

However I don’t trust France 2 too much due to their unpredictable results in the past. A medium bet is recommended as I think this is Amiens chance to kick start their winning momentum. I can see the price is already dropping for Amiens at level handicap so I will be punting on the -0.25 handicap, let’s hope the bets aren’t too heavily one sided, then all hell break lose!
