Well, there were a lot of big games played on Sunday and now we know a lot more about some teams.

The New York Jets absolutely pounded the Tennessee Titans. I’m not sure if that was the biggest loss by a 10-0 team in the history of the history of the NFL but it has to be close.

The Jets pretty much humiliated the Titans. The Titans couldn’t run the ball and they couldn’t stop the Jets offense. That spelled doom for the previously undefeated Titans. The final score was 34-13 Jets.

So that means there are no undefeated teams left this year. And the ‘72 Dolphins can sleep peacefully knowing that once again no team threatens their perfect season.

Speaking of undefeated seasons, the Pats beat-up on the Miami Dolphins in Miami. I’ll say it again: The Pats defense is too old and slow. However, I may have to re-consider my opinion about Matt Cassell. He now has thrown for over 400 yards in two straight games. Impressive. However, could it be that he has Moss and Welker and a great offensive line? But if I don’t admit Cassell is a great quarterback then I have to readjust my opinion of Tom Brady. And maybe that’s the bigger shocker. Is Brady that good because of the system and the players around him? Certainly that’s something to think about.

Meanwhile, the Redskins barely escaped the Seahawks. The Eagles were thumped by the Ravens and they sat McNabb down for the second half. Yet the Dallas Cowboys rolled over the 49ers. Will anyone from the media write that Dallas is the worst team in their division this week? I doubt it.

Finally, the Atlanta Falcons beat the Carolina Panthers. We may see Carolina fade into obscurity now. They’ve looked horrible the last three weeks. If they don’t turn things around they’ll find themselves out of the playoffs in just a couple weeks.
