NFL: Games to Watch
Posted on | November 23, 2008 | No Comments
Today there are a few games that will be a lot of fun to watch.
If I had to pick one game that looks the best, I would have to go with the New York Jets and the Tennessee Titans. One way or the other, we will find out a lot about the Jets in this game. And we’ll also find out a lot about the AFC. If the Titans win this one then they’ll officially be the heavy favorite to go to the Superbowl, which doesn’t mean too much at this point.
Another game to watch is the New York Giants visiting the Arizona Cardinals. Can the Cards win a game this big? More importantly will the Cards protect Warner and keep him healthy?
Then, will the Cards be able to stop the Giants running attack. If I were the Cards I would stick 8 in the box and blitz every down. That way you stop Jacobs from getting started and you might force Eli into mistakes. He’s been too comfortable with his playactions and being able to rely on the run.
Another great game is the New England Patriots visiting the Miami Dolphins. If you listen carefully, you might just hear the death knell of the Pats. And what better place for it to happen then in Miami?
The entire media has really given Matt Cassell a pass this year. Some of the going so far as to suggest that that Pats might trade Brady and keep Cassell? Really? Seriously?
Well, as the defenses figure out Cassell more and more, he will look more and more like the back-up he’s been his entire career.
But, he will have a chance to prove me wrong this week. But I doubt he will. I see him throwing a couple picks and struggling to hit a couple hundred yards in this game.
So there are a few great games to watch today. Enjoy!
