NFL: My Picks for Week 12 (Part 2)
Posted on | November 22, 2008 | No Comments
Yesterday I went over the first half of my picks Week 12. Now, I’m going to turn to the second half of games.
Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns
Nothing like starting on an exciting game.
Nobody cares about this game. But I’ll take the Browns to win a close one.
My Pick: The Browns
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions
Can the Lions win their first game. If I were the Bucs I’d be afraid. But the Lions won’t win it.
My Pick: The Buccaneers
Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos
The Broncos really need this game. They’ll get it at home against a Raiders team that isn’t any good.
My Pick: The Broncos
Washington Redskins as Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are finally somewhat healthy and the Redskins may be without Portis. That’s a bad combination for the Skins who’ve been stumbling a bit lately.
My Pick: The Seahawks
New York Giants at Arizona Cardinals
This is another one of the big games this week. Can the Cardinals compete with the big kid on the block?
If I were the Cards I’d be a little worried about getting out of this game with Warner still healthy.
But if the Cards can have a fast start then they have a shot. But I think the Giants running game will take over and the Giants will be pretty much in control the whole game.
My Pick: The Giants
Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons
As I wrote earlier in the week, the Panthers are the worst 8-2 team in the history of the NFL. After this game they’ll be 8-3. And the young legend of Matt Ryan will continue to grow.
My Pick: The Falcons
Indianapolis Colts at San Diego Chargers
Another huge game. The winner will look poised to make a playoff run while the loser will be pretty much done.
Though the media has completely jumped on the Colts bandwagon, I’m taking the Chargers.
My Pick: The Chargers
Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints
And the last of the great games this week. Finally, a good Monday night match-up.
The Saints simple aren’t very good. They’ll score points but not as many as the Packers.
My Pick: The Packers
