NFL: My Picks for Week 12 (Part 1)

Posted on | November 21, 2008 | No Comments

This week there are a lot of great games. And there are a lot of games that are hard to predict.

But I’ll give it a short anyway.

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers

This game was played on Thursday night and the Steelers pretty much dominated the Bengals from start to finish.

San Francisco 49ers at Dallas Cowboys

It doesn’t seem like too long ago that this match-up was the best game of the year. Now, it’s just another game. That’s thanks to the Niners being horrible and the Cowboys underachieving.

However, it will be interesting to see how the Cowboys’ offense does and if TO gets the ball more.

My Pick: The Cowboys

Philadelphia Eagles at Baltimore Ravens

This is one of those big games of the day. Both of these teams want to make it to the playoffs.

The Eagles are tumbling fast and McNabb has shown his ignorance about the rules of overtime. He won’t have to worry about OT in this one. The Ravens will win it.

My Pick: The Ravens

New York Jets at Tennessee Titans

This is THE biggest game of the week. Can the Titans stay undefeated? Can the Jets continue their winning streak? Will it be Favre or Collins that win this one?

Well, I’m not so sure the Jets are ready to win this big of a game.

My Pick: The Titans

Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs

If the Bills lose this one then they will be absolutely done (they’re done anyway).

The Bills might be ripe to be beaten. In fact, I’ll take the Chiefs.

My Pick: The Chiefs

Minnesota Vikings at Jacksonville Jaguars

Both of these teams are really hard to figure out.

It looks like Del Rio is losing his guys. However, I think Jacksonville will win this one.

My Pick: The Jaguars

New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins

Imagine if the Pats lost this game? They would be just about out of the playoffs. They would officially be worse than the Dolphins. And all their old defensive players would point to the Pats being behind the Dolphins and the Jets for years to come.

Well, you won’t have to imagine on Sunday night.

My Pick: The Dolphins

Chicago Bears at St Louis Rams

The Bears will win this one. And there probably won’t be one highlight worth watching.

My Pick: The Bears
