NFL: The Super Seven for Week 12
It’s already that time of the week again. Time for me to try to list the top 7 teams in the NFL.
As always, the first two are very easy and then the rest are just an absolute mess. Does this mean that the two teams who are going to the Super Bowl are already pretty much written in stone? I hope not. But it is beginning to look that way.
1. New York Giants
They crushed the Baltimore Ravens. They ran right over them. The Giants’ strength went against what was supposedly the Ravens’ strength and the Giants pushed them around at will.
This Giants team might just be scary good. Coming from me, that’s a huge compliment because I’ve never been sold on this team.
But their running game is one of the best I’ve ever seen and their defense is stout. That’s a winning combination. Especially when you have Eli and Plax just kinda sitting back waiting to see if they ever have to step-up and win a game like they did in the Super Bowl.
2.Tennessee Titans
The Titans showed me something by throwing to beat the Jags on Sunday. But in the end, it was the Jags. Another below average team that stuck with the Titans.
i just don’t see how the Titans can continue to play every game so close and win them all. It might even get them hurt in the playoffs.
3. New York Jets
I’ve been leaving the Jets out all season. So I’ll put them at #3 this week. They beat the Titans and they move into #2. They lose and they’re gone. Any questions Brett?
4. Carolina Panthers
This has to be the worst 8-2 team in the history of the NFL. But they are 8-2.
5. Pittsburgh Steelers
This team baffles me. They’re good… but are they really good? If they can protect Big Ben then they just might be.
6. Arizona Cardinals
I’ll give the Cards props. They are winning. This week they have a huge game against the Giants. Win and they’ll move up. Lose and they’ll… well you know. Any questions Mr. Warner?
7. Dallas Cowboys
They get a pass for their injuries. But they need to get their offense going. They better beat the 49ers this week and then the Seahawks the next week. And they better do it convincingly too.
