NFL: Preview for Week 10 (Part One)
Posted on | November 7, 2008 | 1 Comment
This week kicked off the beginning of the NFL‘s Network coverage (not that too many people were able watch it – thank you cable companies and then NFL!).
So last night the Denver Broncos beat the Cleveland Browns in an exciting game. Cutler looked really good again and so did the Browns’ QB, Brady Quinn.
But now it’s time to move on to the game’s that will played this weekend.
Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots
This should be a great game. The AFC East is still wide open. The winner of this game may not be the clear favorite but they’ll certainly have a huge advantage over the loser of this game.
I just don’t trust Matt Cassell or the Pats’ old defense.
My Pick: The Bills
Tennessee Titans at Chicago Bears
Could this be the first game that the Titans lose?
The Titans are definitely the better team here. But this game will be in Chicago and I picked the Titans to lose their first game either last week or this week. It didn’t happen last week so…
My Pick: The Bears
New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons
Are the Falcons really this good? Is Matt Ryan really this good?
I think the Saints will score some points in this game but not enough to win.
My Pick: The Falcons
Seattle Seahawks at Miami Dolphins
The Seahawks are supposed to get Matt Hasselbeck back in a week or two. They have looked horrible and I’m not sure anything can make them into winners.
The Dolphins are just a solid team that plays football the right way. That will vault them to the easy win here.
My Pick: The Dolphins
Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings
This will be a great game too. And it will tell us a lot about the NFC North.
I like the Packers.
My Pick: The Packers
St. Louis Rams at New York Jets
The Rams have looked a lot better lately. Imagine if they beat the Jets in New York?
It could happen… but I don’t think so.
My Pick: The Jets

Where is Part 2?? I am still focusing on my Giants. The Giants have now won 12 of their last 13 games away from home, the only setback being the Oct. 13 Monday night loss in Cleveland, a 35-14 puzzle. Minus that score, the Giants are 177-80 in their five victories. They are also one game ahead of last year’s record after seven games. I wish they would win the ring again this year. BTW, found some cool widgets at statbeast.com. Take a look!
