NFL: Week 9 Picks (Part Two)
Posted on | November 1, 2008 | No Comments
Here we go with the last half of the Week 9 picks. The highlights of these picks are the Giants and Cowboys, the Pats and the Colts, and the Steelers and the Redskins.
So let’s get to it…
Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinati Bengals
The Jags have to be disappointed in their loss last week. They’re going to take it out on the Bengals.
My Pick: The Jaguars
Miami Dolphins at Denver Broncos
The Dolphins are a lot better than most people thought they were at the beginning of the year. The Broncos are no where near as good.
But the Broncos are at home and that gives them the edge. Still, I think Miami and their solid football will win.
My Pick: The Dolphins
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants
If the Cowboys had Tony Romo then this game would be everywhere and would be about to be a huge battle.
With all the Cowboys injuries all the “experts” are saying that the Giants will win this one, and most of them believe it will be a slaughter.
I don’t think the Cowboys score more than 10 points against the Giants defense.
But I think the Giants defense may struggle against the Cowboys defense, if the Boys D plays like they did last week.
But the Giants will score more than 10 points.
My Pick: The Giants
Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks
This should be an easy win for the Eagles.
But look out, the Seahawks will keep it close for a while.
My Pick: The Eagles
Atlanta Falcons at Oakland Raiders
The Raiders are bad. Without Kiffin they are even worse.
My Pick: The Falcons
New England Patriots at Indianapolis Colts
Over the last few years this has been a huge match-up. But now it’s not so big.
But the Colts know they have to win this game. And I think they will.
My Pick: The Colts
Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Redskins
This is going to be an awesome game. Lots of huge hits.
The big thing to watch will be Clinton Portis against the Steelers defense.
I think the Steelers will make enough big plays on offense and shut down Portis on defense.
My Pick: The Steelers
