NFL: The Super Seven

It’s that time of the week to take a look at the top seven teams in the NFL.
There’s a bit of a change at the top and the bottom.
Let’s get right to it…
1. New York Giants
The Giants move back into the top spot after beating the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Giants can really help their chances of winning the NFC East by beating the Cowboys this week. With the Cowboys so banged up, the Giants better win the game.
2. Tennessee Titans
The Titans slip from the top spot and they still haven’t lost?
I know… I know. But the Titans are not as good as the Giants. If they played the Giants I think the Giants would win probably 7 times out of 10.
3. Washington Redskins
I put the Skins in this spot. they deserve it. They’ve won a lot of tough football games.
Will it continue? I don’t know. But they’ve earned the #3 spot.
4. Carolina Panthers
Quietly the Panthers are putting together a very good season. They have the inside track to get the #2 seed in the NFC right now.
5. Pittsburgh Steelers
I like the Steelers, I really do. And if they were healthy last week, they would’ve beaten the Giants. But not team is completely healthy right now so the Steelers need to win a big game. And they need to protect Big Ben.
But the Steelers are now 0-2 against the NFC East. They’ll get another crack at the NFC East this Monday when they play the Skins.
6. New England Patriots
The Pats are finding ways to win. So they deserve to make the list.
I have my doubts about them staying near the top but for now, they deserve it.
7. Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys got a big win over the Bucs even though they’re banged up.
Banged up?
How about being without 10 of their top 26 players for the entire second half last week. Yet they still one.
That’s enough to get them the #7 spot.
