NFL: My Picks for Week 7 (Part One)
Posted on | October 17, 2008 | No Comments
It’s already time to make my picks for Week 7 in the NFL. My picks have been brutal so far… but this season has been so unpredictable.
So let’s just get to my attempt at decent picks for this week:
San Francisco 49ers at New York Giants
The Giants looked horrible on Monday night. They can’t put up two stinkers in a row, can they?
Well, no. But I’m not sold on this Giants team. I think they have a lot of holes that are just now starting to get exposed. But the Niners won’t be able to expose them enought.
My Pick: Giants
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
How good are the Steelers? How bad are the Bengals?
Something tells me not as good or as bad as we think.
But the Steelers beat-up the Bengals and win this one.
My Pick: Steelers
Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs
The Titans are the last undefeated team. The Chiefs are rebuilding.
Man, I’d love to pick a huge upset here but I can’t.
But I do think this will be very close.
My Pick: Titans
Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears
Here’s a good NFC North match-up. I like the Bears at home.
My Pick: Bears
San Diego Chargers at Buffalo Bills
This will be a great match-up. It will tell us a lot (or at least should).
How good are the Bills? Are the Chargers back on the right path?
I actually like the Chargers in this game. I think they are flying high and will continue to cruise through the AFC.
My Pick: Chargers
New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers
This another great measuring stick game.
I think Brees and the Saints win it.
My Pick: Saints
Dallas Cowboys at St Louis Rams
Will Romo play or not? He probably shouldn’t. But either way, Dallas needs to play well in this game and I think they will.
The other Roy Williams will get his first score as a Cowboy too.
My Pick: Cowboys
