NFL: Week 7 Super 7

It’s that time of the week to once again rank the top 7 teams in the NFL.
Last year we had the same team – New England – at the top for the entire season. Now we’re about to have our 3rd or 4th top team already this year. And something tells me the top team may change again next week.
In fact, this entire list is fluid. There simply isn’t a dominant team right now and I doubt we’ll see one this year.
1. Tennessee Titans
First place by default. They had a bye so they didn’t lose. And now they are the only undefeated team left in the NFL.
They have a great defense and an okay offense (as long as Kerry Collins is in there). But they just don’t look like the best team in the NFL.
2. Pittsburgh Steelers
How can I put the Steelers as #2? Why shouldn’t I? Sure, they got toasted by Philly a few weeks ago, but that was a few weeks ago.
They probably don’t belong here but they deserve it more than anyone else. And settle down Giants’ fans, I’m about to get to you.
3. New York Giants
So many people still consider the Giants the best team in the NFL. Why? They haven’t beat anyone (the Redskins were abysmal in that first game) and they just got trounced by a pretty bad Browns team.
4. Buffalo Bills
Another team that benefited from the bye. You can’t argue with their 4-1 record.
5. Arizona Cardinals
Yup, I’m crazy. Actually I just wish I could stop the list at this point. I know whichever way I go I’ll be proven to be an idiot.
6. Atlanta Falcons
Why not? The only thing the media loves more than the Falcons right now is their quarterback Matt Ryan. Terms like “future Hall of Famer” and “superstar in the making” are being thrown around.
Excuse me?
What has he done, again? Ohh, a handful of good throws. Okay. Yup, get the yellow jacket ready.
7. Dallas Cowboys
How far the mighty have fallen.
Will the tough get going now or will the weak simply wither and fade away.
What’s it going to be Dallas?

Great list Charlie, I can’t agree more on the Patriots fall, also the Cowbows. I don’t think Tennessee will beat the spread this week, they’re looking good, but not that good.
