NFL: Picks for Week 6 (Part 1)

It’s already almost the weekend again. And that means it’s time for Part 1 of my NFL Picks for Week 6.
So let’s get right at it…
Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This should be a really good game, and it will go a long way in determining the favorite in the NFC South.
I like the Bucs to win a close one.
My Pick: Tampa Bay
St. Louis Rams at Washington Redskins
The Redskins are due for a letdown. Lucky for them they play a team that just can’t do anything right.
I like the Redskins in an ugly contest. Probably something like 16-12.
My Pick: Washington
Cincinnati Bengals at New York Jets
You know, the Jets crushed the Cardinals two weeks ago and then went into their bye.
The off week had to help Favre get more comfortable with the offense.
But I just think the Bengals are due. As long as Palmer plays, I think he’ll eat up that Jets secondary and I think the Bengals will be able to put just enough pressure on Favre.
I’m going out on a limb…
My Pick: Cincinnati
Oakland Raiders at New Orleans Saints
Brees throws for over 400 yards and Bush scores two more touchdowns.
My Pick: New Orleans
Miami Dolphins at Houston Texans
The Dolphins actually have a chance to be above .500. They are coming off wins against the Pats and Chargers. Who am I to doubt them against the Texans, a team that almost always find a way to lose?
My Pick: Miami
Chicago Bears at Atlanta Falcons
The Bears are beginning to look like the Bears of 2006, minus the dominating defense. But their defense is pretty good.
In fact, their defense is good enough to stop the Falcons’ offense led by a rookie.
My Pick: Chicago
Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings
The Lions are so bad. Just horrible. And they won’t be any good until they wash away a lot of the stink that Matt Millen left.
The Vikings seem to know how to win and they have AP.
My Pick: Minnesota
