NFL: Predictions for Week 4 (Part 1)
Posted on | September 26, 2008 | No Comments
It’s that time again. The Week 4 games are already upon us. So it’s time for me to predict the first half of the games.
Let’s get right to it…
Buffalo Bills at St. Louis Rams
The Bills came allive just in time last week to nip the Oakland Raiders. I would think that would be a bad omen for Buffalo.
But the Rams are so bad… and now the players are turning against Coach Linnehan… this one won’t be close.
My Pick: Buffalo
Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers
Both of these teams look better than I thought they would. I think Carolina gets the nod at home. But I don’t know that they’ll cover the 7 points they’re favored by.
My Pick: Carolina
Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals
Which of these teams is going to blink first?
They’ve both been horrible so far this year.
The Bengals looked better last week against the Giants and they are at home. Yet, I like the Browns in this game.
My Pick: Cincinnati
Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys
Wow, the Cowboys are favored by more than 11 points? That’s a lot.
Talk to the Redskins or their fans and they think they can win this one.
They might be delusional.
Cowboys will win by at least 20. Mark it down.
My Pick: Dallas
Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs
The Broncos’ achilles heel may be their defense. But the Chiefs are so bad that there’s no way they can keep-up with Cutler and crew.
My Pick: Denver
Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Texans are below average. The Jaguars are above average.
You do the math.
My Pick: Jacksonville
San Francisco 49ers at New Orleans Saints
The Saints can’t seem to find a groove. This is exactly how it went for them last year.
But their offense will score points and the 49ers will lose this game but a couple touchdowns.
My Pick: New Orleans
