NFL: Super Seven (After Week 3)

Well, it’s that time of the week again. Time for me to give me Super Seven teams in the NFL.
This week’s list is notable because the top three teams are all from the same division.
1. Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys showed on Sunday night that they can still score even without TO, Witten, and Crayton being a big factor. That’s huge. And I think Miles Austin (who caught two long passes) will continue to emerge as a great option for Romo and company.
Meanwhile, the defense looked good with Terrance Newman back in the line-up and without Roy Williams playing safety. This week’s game against Jason Campbell and the Skins will go a long way to showing where the Skins are at.
2. Philadelphia Eagles
I know, they already lost a game. But it was to Dallas in Dallas and it wasn’t by much.
The Eagles made the Steelers look like an average team. There are very good… but only if Westbrook and McNabb can stay healthy.
3. New York Giants
They’re lucky they’re the Super Bowl champs. Because they haven’t looked that good. But last year they looked horrible the first two weeks and average in the third week. Look how that worked out for them?
4. Tennessee Titans
The first non-NFC East spot goes to the Titans. Great – and I mean GREAT – defense and a decent offense with Kerry Collins.
They are the creme of the AFC right now.
5. Denver Broncos
Talk about a high-powered offense. If Jay Cutler keeps this up the Denver fans will find it hard to recall the last name of John… John… whatever his name was.
But their defense is very suspect. Luckily, the refs help them plenty to make-up for the defensive lapses.
6. Buffalo Bills
Should we crown them AFC East champs right now? I would. But something tells me New England might have a thing or two to say about that.
But the Dolphins aren’t as bad as we think (but that doesn’t mean much) and the Jets aren’t nearly as good as some people think.
7. Green Bay Packers
This spot is officially up for grabs. The Packers may surrender it without even losing it. But right now the Pack deserves to be here.
But they better watch out for Baltimore, Washington, and Tampa Bay.
