NFL: Best 0-2 Team and Worst 2-0 Team

Here we are in the middle of the week. The excitement from Sunday and Monday has worn off and it’s still too early to get pumped for this week’s games. So now is a great time to look at where some teams are at. Tomorrow we’ll look at my “Excellent Eleven” and today we’ll take a look at the team I believe is the best 0-2 and the team I thnk is the worst 2-0.
So let’s start with the 0-2 team. There are actually a few teams to choose from here. The Clevland Browns were supposed to be a playoff team and they’re 0-2. San Diego was picked by many to be a Superbowl team and they are 0-2. The Seattle Seahawks and the Minnesota Twins are two more supposed playoff teams who are 0-2.
But of all the teams, I think San Diego is easily the best of the bunch. Sure, the other teams might make the playoffs, but I still think San Diego has to be favored to make the playoffs. Plus they barely lost their first game and got robbed in their second game.
So that brings us to the worst 2-0 team. There are some obvious good teams like the Dallas Cowboys, the Giants, the Packers, the Patriots, and the Steelers. I would even put the Buffalo Bills in that group. But then you have other teams like the Arizona Cardinals, the Tennessee Titans, and the Carolina Panthers who just might not be that good.
I actually like the Panthers, and I think the Titans are a much better team with Kerry Collins at quarterback instead of Vince Young. So I have to say the Arizona Cardinals are the worst 2-0 team. Now, they could very easily prove me wrong but right now I’m not a believer. But the NFC West look weak right now and 8-8 might win it. So that would mean the Cards only have to 6-8 the rest of the way to make the playoffs.
