NCAA Basketball Selection

Well, yesterday was a great day. We hit both of our NCAA sports picks. As predicted, the Memphis game was a walk in the park. Bradley’s days of living the dream are over. The Gonzaga game flew over the total with ease.
Today, there’s another NCAA sports pick. The game is tipping off around 9:55pm EST and is between underdog Washington and favorite UCONN. Right now Connecticut is a 6.5 point favorite. This line has remained pretty steady, but I am waiting for it to hit 7. I really like Washington in this game. They have been playing hard all tournament and should be able to keep it close with Connecticut. I think they have a shot to win this game outright.
These two teams met twice, but it’s not worth mentioning or factoring into the equation. Both head to head match ups took place in 1998 and none of those players are around today. Also both games took place in Connecticut so Washington had to fly, literally, across the whole United States to play. This year’s Washington team is exciting to watch and matched up very well with Connecticut. Here’s some important items to note:
- Washington scores 81.7 points per game on average and gives up 69 points.
- Connecticut scores 81.2 points per game on average and gives up 66 points.
- Over the last eight games, Washington is 7-1 against the spread.
- In their last game, Washington beat higher seed Illinois by 3.
- In their last game, Connecticut struggled against the #8 seed Kentucky and won by 4.
Today’s NCAA selection: Washington +6.5
